SHDSL: CXR Copperway

The Copperway-Bis-GE is an SHDSL top hat rail device with various interfaces. Point-to-point or add/drop connections are established via the SHDSL interfaces with 2 or 4 wires. Particularly clever is Copperway-Bis-GE’s by-pass protection relay function to connect through to the SHDSL line should a power outage occur, so that in a ladder network the subsequent stations can still be reached even if a modem fails.
